MODUS128 (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects the following categories of personal information when you visit modus.church or submit a request through our website:

We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, payment card numbers, government-issued ID numbers, or health information through this website.

  • Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, and church name submitted through our inquiry form.
  • Professional Information: Your title or role, denomination, congregation size, city and state, and a description of your ministry’s needs.
  • Communication Data: Any messages, questions, or additional context you provide when contacting us.
  • Usage Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on site, and referring URL — collected automatically through standard web server logs and analytics tools.
  • Email Subscription Data: Email address and name provided when subscribing to Filed Notes, our editorial resource.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. Ever.

  • To respond to your inquiry and determine whether MODUS128 is the right fit for your church’s needs.
  • To schedule and conduct discovery calls and consulting engagements.
  • To send our Filed Notes email resource to subscribers who have opted in.
  • To improve our website and understand how visitors engage with our content.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations under North Carolina and federal law.

HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

  • Service Providers: We use Formspree to process inquiry form submissions and may use email platforms (such as Mailchimp or ConvertKit) to deliver Filed Notes. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually prohibited from using it for other purposes.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of MODUS128 assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change

DATA SECURITY — NC IDENTITY THEFT PROTECTION ACT

In compliance with the North Carolina Identity Theft Protection Act (N.C. Gen. Stat. §§ 75-60 to 75-66), MODUS128 implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Security Breach Notification: If we experience a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the NC Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division without unreasonable delay, as required by N.C. Gen. Stat. § 75-65. Notification will include the nature of the breach, the type of information affected, and steps you can take to protect yourself.

MODUS128’s services are directed exclusively to pastors, church leaders, and ministry professionals. Our website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable North Carolina law.

If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately at hello@modus.church.
